It's my birthday today and last night a bunch (12) of us went out for a meal at Sakura on Albert Road, continuing to Little Johnny Russells for drinks and fun. I even dished out party bags - what an excellent host!
As the birthday girl, I was the only one still not full enough to have pudding, for which I ordered pineapple fritter - old skool! And this is how it was delivered...

What Jaime DOESN'T show here is the additional cup cake she blew out a candle on when we sang happy birthday, and the massive ice cream sundae also sent to the table, accompanied by a sparkler and Cliff Richard singing "Congratulations".
ReplyDeleteIn this photo, the childish hundreds and thousands, the incongruou cocktail umbrella and the pineapple somehow really sums up a great birthday that included old and new friends, party bags that featured nerds sweets and lego soap, a healthy dose of glamour and more alcohol than sensible people should get involved in.
What we all really want it a shot of Jaime emerging from LJRs at 1.30 in the morning, though, right? :)
Haha! I agree with Zoe re: the departure photo! Sounds like a great birthday, and this photo suggests everyone was in on the fun as I'm guessing not every pineapple fritter comes with an umbrella...
